I once came across a swan that had recently been killed by a coyote and I took some of the wing feathers. I decided to put them in my paintings because swan feathers are known to represent power and longevity. The Swan series has a hint of each of the chakra colours in every painting. The combination of particular gemstones as well as swan feathers (which contain their own healing properties), collectively add to the healing effect of the chakra colours.
