Oil on canvas with peridot and pyrite.
These paintings reflect some of the places and people that inspired me during a hiking trip with indigenous people in Peru; we spent time with a High Andean priest with whom we did ceremonies on the glacier and then later in Machu Picchu. I found the hiking trails through both the forests and the mountains to be vibrating with spirits of the past and the present and was deeply moved by the experience.
